Expanded Irrigation System Improvement or Recharge Program (EISIRP)

Westlands’ Expanded Irrigation System Improvement or Recharge Program (EISIRP) offers low interest loans to water users for the lease-purchase of irrigation system equipment. EISIRP funds up to $200,000 towards the purchase of irrigation system, tailwater reuse systems, linear move, center pivot systems, portable aluminum irrigation equipment, filtration systems, water level and water quality monitoring devices, and sublateral recharge and drywells.

For more information, see our EISIRP page.

Expanded Irrigation System Improvement or Recharge Program (EISIRP)/Public Purpose Program (P3) Grant

Westlands’ Expanded Irrigation System Improvement or Recharge Program (EISIRP)/Public Purpose Program (P3) Grant offers low interest loans to water users who are currently enrolled in the Groundwater Management Program, Irrigation System Management Program, or Temporary Diversion Program. The EISIRP/P3 funds up to $200,000 and is supplemented by Power and Water Resources Pooling Authority P3 grant funding, for up to $70,000 or 35% the total lease purchase, whichever is less, towards the purchase of irrigation system equipment, design of irrigation system and purchase of portable aluminum irrigation pipe, micro irrigation, linear move, center pivots, filtration systems, water level, and water quality monitoring devices, and sublateral recharge and drywells.

For more information, see our EISIRP/P3 page.

Irrigation Evaluation Cost Share Rebate

The District is offering water users a rebate for mobile lab services. Mobile lab services perform irrigation system evaluations by measuring water rate application, system distribution uniformity and by providing efficiency improvement recommendations.

The amount of rebate per field evaluation is limited to 25% of the invoice or $500, whichever is less. Funds are limited and availability is on a first come first serve basis. If you have any questions, please contact the Resources Department at (559) 224-1523.

Download the application and follow the instructions to apply for a rebate.

Please complete the Irrigation Evaluation Cost Share Program application (PDF), attach the mobile lab service invoice with the evaluation report and submit by mail. Incomplete or unclear submission will be returned to the applicant. Funding is limited to one evaluation rebate per water user account per year, unless staff determines that demand is less than available funding.
