2022-2023 Supplemental Water Advance Charges
On July 19, 2022, the Finance and Administration Committee directed that 4,750 acre feet of Supplemental Water be made available for allocation to water users that subscribed to the District’s 2022-2023 Supplemental pool. The District is in receipt of a request for a payment plan for the advance payment for this supplemental water, and to provide financial relief to water users who received an allocation of 2022-2023 Supplemental Water on July 21, 2022, the General Manager exercised his authority under Section 10 of the District’s Terms & Conditions for Agricultural Water Service to establish a payment plan for advance payments. The payment plan for the Supplemental Advance charges is as follows:
- The Supplemental Water made available for allocation on July 21, 2022, will be payable in three equal monthly installments, with one-third (1/3) due August 25, 2022, one-third (1/3) due September 26, 2022, and one-third (1/3) due on October 25, 2022.
- The installments due on September 22, 2022, and October 25, 2022, will accrue interest at a rate of 0.65% from August 25, 2022.
- All payments under the plan must be made prior to the allocation of supplemental water to the water user.
Timely payments made under this payment plan will not incur penalty or monitoring charges. Any water user participating in the 2022-2023 Supplemental Water program who would like to utilize this payment plan should notify your Customer Service Representative by August 3, 2022.
