Notice to Water Users Regarding Amending 2023-2024 Agricultural Water Allocation Application
On April 20, 2023, the Bureau of Reclamation increased the 2023-2024 Central Valley Project (CVP) water allocation to 100% for Westlands and other irrigation water service and repayment contractors. The District is allowing water users to amend their 2023-2024 Agricultural Water Allocation Application(s) to meet their operational needs for the 2023-2024 water contract year. The deadline to amend the application(s) is May 5, 2023.
This will be the last opportunity for water users to increase or decrease their allocation request before the District allocates the final portion of CVP water. Once allocated, water users are responsible for all District costs associated with the use or loss of water in their account.
Deadline to Return Supplemental Water Program Agreements Extended to June 1, 2023
The deadline for returning 2023-2024 Supplemental Water Program agreements has been extended from May 1, 2023, to close of business on June 1, 2023, by one of the following means.
- Mail to: Westlands Water District, P.O. Box 6056, Fresno, CA 93703. You may also hand deliver the agreement to the District’s Fresno Office, at 3130 N. Fresno Street.
- Scan and email: customeraccounting@wwd.ca.gov
- Facsimile to: (559) 241-6276
Agreements not received at the District or postmarked by the due date will not be considered timely. Late Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis after timely requests are filled.
