This notice regards:
2026 Cushion Water and System Gain Allocations
At its October 20, 2026, meeting, the Board of Directors approved the allocation of approximately 7,000 AF of 2026 Cushion Water and 1,000 AF of 2026 System Gain Water. The Board directed that these supplies be allocated to water users with remaining requests for CVP water. These allocations will be reflected on October water statements. In addition, the District may receive additional water from the Bureau of Reclamation, which would be allocated in the same manner.
Allocation Return Period and Application Updates
To ensure any additional supplies can be allocated as efficiently as possible, water users with remaining unmet CVP water requests are invited to review and submit revised Allocation Applications to the District by close of business (5:00 pm) tomorrow, October 22, 2026.
Upon receiving the Cushion or System Gain allocations, water users will have (7) business days from the date the allocation is posted to their account to notify the District in writing if they wish to return any portion of the allocated water. Allocations not returned within that period will remain assigned to the account. Returned water will be reallocated by the District, and any reallocated water will be considered final and may not be returned.
Supplemental Water Allocation Update
The District plans to allocate approximately 3,800 AF during the first week of November. Water users with outstanding Supplemental Water requests should consider this allocation when determining their remaining water needs.
