FRESNO, CA – The Westlands Water District is pleased to announce the selection of Diana Giraldo for the position Public Affairs Representative. Ms. Giraldo brings to the District a wealth of experience to help handle the many issues the farmers and people of the District face every day.
As Public Affairs Representative, Ms. Giraldo will perform a wide variety of duties, including responding to requests from the media, general public, and other water agencies. Ms. Giraldo will be a point of contact for District growers and staff, will coordinate tours of District facilities, and will make presentations at trade shows, in classrooms, before community groups, and to the general public.
Prior to joining the District Ms. Giraldo was employed by the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, where she served as a communications specialist.
