Westlands accepting Board of Director Declarations of Candidacy

Westlands Water District is accepting Declarations of Candidacy from Monday, July 13, 2020 to Friday, August 7, 2020, for the all-mail ballot election scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020, to fill five positions on the Board of Directors that are expiring in 2020.
To qualify for the position of Director, the person shall be 18 years of age or older and be either:
- A holder of title to land in the District
- The legal representative of the holder of title to land in the District in accordance with California Water Code Section 34030
- A representative designated by a holder of title to land in the District if the holder has filed with the District written evidence of that designation
Candidates must declare their eligibility by filing a Declaration of Candidacy form with the District Secretary by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020. Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted for five positions with terms of offices of four years, currently held by Jim Anderson, William Bourdeau, Frank Coelho, Larry Enos, and Todd Neves.
