Dos Amigos Planned Shutdown
The District has received notification from the Department of Water Resources (DWR) that Dos Amigos Pumping Plant will shut down for urgent maintenance on June 12, 2018 for approximately eight hours. The District will be limited in the amount of water that it will be able to deliver during the planned shutdown. Water users are asked to assist the District by limiting water orders or postponing the use of water on June 12, 2018. There are no restrictions on water orders prior to the planned shutdown and it is anticipated that there will be no restrictions once the maintenance is complete.
If a water user is found to be running without or over their order on June 12, 2018, and a lateral is drained or damaged, the water user will be liable for a lateral refill charge and/or any costs associated with repair of that lateral. We will keep water users apprised of any updates.
