NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor of Westlands Water District has valued all lands within the District with the Westlands Water District Schedule of Per Acre Valuations for the 2020 Benefit Assessment and has included such valuations in the Westlands’ 2020 Assessment Book, a copy of which is on file and open for public inspection at the District’s Office (3130 N. Fresno Street, Fresno, California) and the District’s Five Points Field Office (23050 W. Mt. Whitney Avenue, Five Points, California).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practicable, at the District’s Fresno Office, 3130 N. Fresno St., Fresno, California, the Board of Directors of the District will sit as a Board of Equalization to hear and determine all objections presented to it regarding the correctness of said valuations. Landowners wishing to petition the Board must submit a written application for a modification of the valuation(s) placed on their land prior to 5 p.m., May 12, 2020. The application must state the facts supporting the claim for reduction and the applicant’s opinion of the proper valuation(s).
