Preliminary District Election Results
Westlands Water District has completed a preliminary canvass of all ballots timely cast in the election for its Board of Directors. The District is required by the Elections Code section 3020 to consider as timely cast, ballots posted on or before election day and received no more than three (3) days after the election.
The District also resolved to provide a notice and cure process for ballots not counted due to specific deficiencies, as established by District Resolution 125-20. Ballots of voters who cure deficiencies by November 18, 2020, will be counted.
For these reasons, a final tally will not be announced until November 20, 2020. Based on the canvass of timely cast ballots, the following is the preliminary vote tally:
